"Don't worry, I won't do anything fatal, I just need some information."
William whimpered a little bit. Here he was sitting all tied up and bruised. He shook a little bit “What kind of information could you possibly want from me? I’m just a simple magician.”
"That’s the problem." She sat over him, hands on his shoulders as she looked him dead in the eye. "This -won’t- blow over. And so long as that book remains, it will never blow over. Only terrible things will happen and if you don’t tell me where that tome, that -creature- is, then I can’t save you." She placed the knife to his throat, trailing down the blade gently, but threateningly.
"So let’s try this one. More. Time."
William stared up at her eyes wide and starting to fill with tears. He gulped as he felt the knife run down his throat. He bit his lip opening his eyes slowly “Even if I did tell you don’t you think that those creatures would simply allow you to destroy the book? They wouldn’t even let you put a single scratch on it. They are not creatures to be trifled with M’am… please just let me go.”
[No anon, I just really enjoy your William. I'm sorry our first interaction had to be her being a creep. Well, first interaction with this blog anyway.
Haha thanks. William really shouldn’t be protecting such a bad book anyway.
